‘We’re seeing a major transition from entertainment being the primary use case to everyday business communication becoming the norm,’ said Berkay Kınacı, Chief Operating Officer of Speaktor, an AI voice platform serving enterprise and education sectors. ‘Our clients use AI dubbing for onboarding, e-learning and marketing videos across international teams. Localisation with voice is now a standard expectation.’

Why Businesses Adopt AI Voices

Three factors drive corporate adoption: scaling multilingual content, cutting production costs and enabling rapid deployment across dispersed teams. Microsoft’s 2024-2025 case studies show enterprises reducing onboarding time by up to 90% through AI-assisted content creation and multilingual tools.

The corporate training market, valued at $361.5 billion in 2023, is expected to reach $805.6 billion by 2035 , driven partly by AI adoption. Companies use AI-powered algorithms to create personalised learning paths and automated content generation in multiple languages.

‘AI brings efficiency, but human input ensures credibility,’ said Kınacı. ‘It’s not about replacement; it’s about responsible scale.’ Kınacı emphasised that ethics increasingly influence client decisions. ‘We train on licensed data only. Clients want scale and speed, but increasingly, they ask: is this ethical? Is it consented? That tells us AI isn’t just a tool; it’s part of the communication infrastructure now.’

Real-Time Translation Arrives

AI dubbing is expanding into live applications. Startups develop systems providing real-time translation with synchronised facial expressions in video calls. Apple announced live translation features for Messages, FaceTime and phone calls at WWDC 2025, whilst HP unveiled AI-powered 3D video collaboration tools.

A product demo recorded in English could soon turn instantly into accurate, lip-synced versions across multiple languages during live presentations. The technology promises to dissolve language barriers in real-time business communication.

However, these advances raise pressing questions about ownership, consent and transparency. Who owns a synthetic voice or digitally rendered likeness? Should faces and voices be licensed like stock photography? How will audiences distinguish real from synthetic content? AI technology’s ethical challenges become more complex as applications expand.

‘The technology is advancing quickly,’ Kınacı concluded. ‘But the frameworks around ownership and consent need to catch up. Clients are asking those questions more than ever, and it’s up to the industry to answer.’

The New Normal

For many companies, AI voice technology represents an infrastructure choice rather than a creative experiment. The questions of consent and ownership, once confined to Hollywood soundstages, now surface in HR meetings and training rooms worldwide.
