LPP Logistics, the logistics arm of Central European fashion retailer LPP Group, has brought a 948-robot automated fulfillment centre near Bucharest into operation in under six months, according to a case study published by the system's supplier, Hai Robotics.

The facility combines 278 HaiPick Automated Case-handling Robots (ACRs) with 670 Fast-transit Companion AMRs. Hai Robotics says the installation supports more than 625,000 storage locations, holds capacity for up to 7.5 million garments and accessories, and achieves throughput of more than 9,400 totes per hour. The centre serves online customers in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Hungary, covering five of LPP Group's brands: Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito and Sinsay.

The deployment scale and timeline are notable context for operators evaluating warehouse automation. A sub-six-month commissioning window for a nearly 1,000-robot system in a greenfield e-commerce facility is at the faster end of what the sector typically reports for comparable installations, and positions the Bucharest site as one of the larger autonomous fulfillment centres in the region.
