USDGO, the enterprise stablecoin operated by Hong Kong-listed OSL Group (HKEX: 863), reached US$1 billion in circulating supply on July 20, 2026, three months after sitting at US$100 million. The tenfold increase places it sixth globally among compliant stablecoins by circulating supply, according to DeFiLlama data, and makes it the largest USD-pegged compliant stablecoin operated by an Asian company.

The velocity is notable in a market where the two incumbents, Tether's USDT and Circle's USDC, together hold roughly 93% of a total stablecoin supply that reached US$316 billion by April 2026, up 54% from US$205 billion at the start of 2025. Getting to US$1 billion inside five months from launch, reaching that figure from a US$50 million launch supply in February, signals more than organic retail flows. It reflects institutional capital looking for a regulated, auditable instrument to move money across corridors where the correspondent banking system extracts time and cost at both ends.

USDGO's reserve composition makes the institutional orientation plain. Reserves of approximately US$1.003 billion as of July 20 comprised cash, US Treasuries, and tokenized funds from BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan. JPMorgan's fund alone accounted for 70.54% of reserves, according to the USDGO transparency page. Monthly reserve verifications are conducted by Deloitte, managed by Anchorage Digital Bank, the federally chartered crypto bank that issues the token. OSL holds the brand operator and distributor role.
