Anyone comparing identity and access management products can now read scorecards for 293 vendors without paying for them, and check the matrix used to produce every score. Start with Identity, a free reference that went live this week, rates each vendor across ten capabilities on a scale of 0 to 5, and publishes the matrix itself so a buyer can weigh the scoring against their own priorities.

The site carries 69 head-to-head comparisons alongside the profiles, and each one states who a tool is wrong for rather than only who it suits. Its verdict on Okta against Microsoft Entra ID is that the choice depends entirely on which collaboration suite a buyer already runs. On Microsoft Entra ID against Ping Identity, it comes down to the deployment model. On Okta against JumpCloud, it turns on the size of the organization and how much a buyer wants unified in one place.
