European exasperation within the chaos at Brexit talks descended into profanity and name-calling, as Germany’s deputy foreign minister said the U.K. government is composed largely of clueless boarding-school graduates. “Brexit is a significant shitshow, I state that today quite undiplomatically,” Michael Roth stated in his speech at the Social Democratic Party in Berlin on Saturday, accusing”90 percent” of the British cabinet of having”no idea how employees believe, live, act and work.” Roth said it wouldn’t be those U.K. politicians “born with silver spoons in their mouths, who moved into private schools and elite colleges” which will endure the results of the Brexit mess. A thousand people gathered outside Parliament yesterday to voice the choice of 17 million people who voted “Leave” at 2016 referendum. Things don’t always go according to plan, even when you have a good plan, but when you don’t have a plan, you plan to fail. Friday was to be “Independence Day” for brexiters and some “leave” entrepreneurial minds invested in coins and tea shirts memorabilia ahead of 29 March 2019 but after a thousand days of political backstabbing and backpedaling, Parliamentarians voted against Britain leaving the European Union for the third time.
Why are MP’s not giving their vote of confidence to a change that 17 million people voted for three years ago? What happened since?
Why only less than a thousand people marched to support Brexit on 29 March? You need to live here to understand the uncertainty that locals experience and how it affects the economic reality.
Unlike Sunday when over a million people took it to the streets to march against a “Divide and conquer” game, Friday we have seen a small group of less than a thousand people who travelled hundreds of miles to express their undying belief in Brexit. I felt their disappointment and we all understand how difficult it is to accept a new reality that nobody can define yet.
Inspired by Lena Headey who was marching along and posted ‘NO TO BREXIT” pictures on social media, I made an analogy with The Game of Thrones’ epic and I really hope it might help makes some sense of the unknown we are facing together.

The president is threatening to wipe out a civilization on social media. The party that controls both Houses has said almost nothing. The midterms are in November. The silence only makes sense if they are not worried about the vote.

The US Vice President spent two days in Budapest the week of Hungary's election. He held rallies, gave speeches, had Trump call in to endorse Orban, accused Brussels and Ukraine of interference, and praised Orban's ties to Russian energy.

Europe wants nuclear power back. But the money is token, the reactors are unproven, and the energy crisis is already here.
