Augmental has opened public sales of the MouthPad, a custom-fit intraoral device that lets users control computers, phones, and tablets through tongue movements and head gestures. The company is releasing the product alongside a beta of Vox, a wearable voice keyboard designed for private use in public spaces.

More than 6,300 people are on the waitlist, including surgeons, pianists, mechanics, and parents. The device has been in use since 2024 through an early-access programme, with over 100 people living with mobility challenges adopting it for daily computing. Some users report wearing it for up to 16 hours a day.

The public launch marks a shift from a clinical and access-restricted rollout to open consumer availability, with a price of $1,400 plus an approximately $100 dental scan required for the custom fit. Units ship within six months of ordering.
